Vinerra Livestock is founded and run by Liam Simmons.

Liam grew up in Otorohanga in the Waikato. From a young age Liam had a passion for Livestock and agriculture.

Milking cows, rearing calves and aquring lease blocks around the Otorohanga district whilst still at primary school was nothing out of the normal for Liam.

Liam’s passion for farming started as a 7 yr old boy. In the weekends Simmons would go out to his grandfathers farm in Tihiroa located near Pirongia.

Payment for milking was $5 and a can of sprite. This then followed through with  young Liam been able to complete milking by himself by the age of 10 and Liam being payed in the way of calves that he could rear those calves could then join the herd. Slowly but surely Liam built up his stock numbers as a young entrepreneur.

Liam then went onto work on dairy farms locally then leasing a dairy farm by the age of 24 in the Waikato.

Currently living 20 Minutes from Te Awamutu, Liam has a real genuine interest in people and a passion for agriculture.
